Most recently Chavez was the Executive Vice President, Operations and Membership at The Vision Council in Alexandria, VA. Prior to joining the staff of The Vision Council, Chavez was Associate Director, Member Services for the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASA), Alexandria, VA.
The International Institute of Building Enclosure Consultants(IIBEC)has named Brian T. Pallasch, CAE as its new executive vice president and chief executive officer. Most recently, Pallasch, was with the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) in Washington, D.C., where he has served Managing Director of Government Relations and Infrastructure Initiatives.
Johnnie White, MBA, CAE, CMP has been named Chief Executive Officer of the American Society of Appraisers (ASA). The ASA, based in Reston, VA, is a world renowned and respected international organization devoted to the appraisal profession. White is an association professional with over 27 years of experience serving in management and leadership roles. He was most recently the Senior Director of the American Academy of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery. There me managed global affairs for the organization and strategic planning. He is also an adjunct faculty member of Georgetown University where he instructs graduate students in operations and event management.

The American Academy of Nursing has named Suzanne Miyamoto, PhD, RN, FAAN as its new chief executive officer. Most recently, Dr. Miyamoto, was with the American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN), where she has served in government affairs roles since 2006, most recently as the Chief Policy Officer.
The American College of Nurse-Midwives (ACNM) has named Sheri Sesay-Tuffour, PhD, CAE as its new chief executive officer. Sesay-Tuffour joined ACNM with 20 years of experience in the nonprofit sector. Most recently she was the Vice-President of Operations for the Heart Rhythm Society.

The Dredging Contractors of America’s (DCA) board of directors has named William P. Doyle as its new executive director and chief executive officer. Doyle was nominated and appointed twice by President Barack Obama, and unanimously confirmed twice by the U.S. Senate as a Commissioner to the U.S. Federal Maritime Commission (FMC) where he served under the Administration for four years. He remained onboard with the Donald J. Trump Administration for an additional year.
